I will dedicate that half to Jon Clark because I haven't seen more missed layups since.

They need to do some serious soul searching at half.

We are so poorly coached, its hard to avoid this very obvious fact anymore, I held out hope for Dan for as long as I possibly can, but you cant defend how poorly prepared this team is almost every single game. This should be a well rested, well prepared team who's had a week to prepare for this style of offense. We should be coming out like our NCAA lives depend on every possession and the team comes out throws us this complete joke of an effort. Again, 100% on Hurley how we can come out of the gate like this. Our STUPID IDIOTIC MORONIC pressure defense against a back door team who cant shoot a lick is just baffling. Not much more to say about this turd of an effort, I'm done making the 2.5 hour trip to the Ryan Center, this team has sucked the spirit out of me. At least I'm looking good for the Season Record prediction contest.

When the other guy is intentionally fouling your pg before the half...gotta wonder....

Also...not sure there's anything that's more 'fake news' than "URI full court pressure"...

We have to establish a post game in the second half. We have a significant height advantage yet we are doing nothing to take advantage of it. A few times we tried and just made poor passes.

Dan isn't missing layups.

Which was the reason for my serious question.

Do we practice contested layups? Do we do baseline drills?
Do we practice reverse layups using the rim for protection?

If we do the drills like most well coached teams do than it's on the players with no excuses.

You can't win a D1 Basketball game blowing at least 10 layups in a half..... it is not possible.

Wow...and I thought the LaSalle game was bad.

We are done. Any time there's pressure to perform, this team and coach comes up short.

BM, layups aren't layups when we're attempting them.

208, the other team is well prepared for our defense. Mooney is a good coach.

We aren't prepared for anything. 25% shooting against a team with little or no inside game.

Eventually Dooley and Thorr will tire of this.

This is kind of simple, but if we can't make layups then we need better players.

Our defense isn't the biggest problem, even though someone forgot to do their homework on how to defend their offense.

And I don't think this is a "work hard" issue.....this team has no clue on the floor, and that is the fault of the clueless ones who "prepared" us for this game.

This team's collective BB IQ is pathetic.
