Agree.
If it becomes the EC dribbling show,
with Terrell and Garret as spectators,
this team goes nowhere.

DH addressed both Martin and Thompson in Monday's URI Basketball Coaches Show this week. It is a good listen if you have not listened to already.
He said Martin had some type of procedure On Monday that should help the recovery. Both started rehabbing on Monday. DH said both are not expected to return until A10 Conference Play begins and could be shortly after Conference play start. He did not know which player would return first. He addresses this about 10 minutes into the 45 minute show with Steve and Don.

This broadcast is hilarious. It is so 2nd rate. They were showing ads while play was going on. It then cut back to play only to go out again to a windows OS screen. You could see someone manipulating the mouse to get video back. They say anything is better than nothing and that pretty much sums this up.

They must know that the baseline camera isn't any good for these streams and broadcasts, it's like they keep using it out of spite or some other unexplainable emotion.

So, Thorr can get this production on air but can't get his own staff/students to stay away from the baseline cam...

If they are going to keep playing this 1-3-1 zone then Iverson, Terrell and Langevine should dominate on the baseline all day.

I'm stuck at the mall so I'm not listening or seeing the game, but Jarvis and EC's game stats suck...what's going on? Jarvis has really regressesed this season...this group does not have any chemistry.

Dan really really needs to sit down..... this team is so tight.

This is a Patriot league game and Ronnie Perry or Bob Cousy aren't playing.....this should be fun.

You could hear Dan screaming like a madman.
Currently, this is a mediocre team at best,
never mind top 25.
They miss Hassan's presence.
This should have been a blowout like PC had against Wagner.
Instead is was mostly single digits thoughout.

Another yawner...outcome never really in doubt...shoulda been a blowout, but wasn't.
KI, while not great, seemed to show a little life today...JT remains the best player on the team.
Did Stan lead the team in blocked shots today? What is UP with EC...?

The pace of the game was ideal for Berry.
So, yeah, don;t play him, because he might do something good.
What's up is down, what's down is up with this team.
NYG, when I wrote Iverson was having a great game,
he had 3-3=6 pts and 8 rebounds in 8 minutes.
Then he got yanked for a long time.
Garrett gets 6 straight points and gets taken out.
Coaching from the CFL manual.

.......I just don't what to say, after watching this, more of the same with key players alternating who has the good game and the rest give not much.....I guess it is now dependent on how quickly HM comes back, how long he stays healthy......and if we can get any of the JG, JT, and EC trifecta to cash in during the same game.....at this point, top tier A-10 team ?.....hardly....

I may be wrong but I thought I heard Dan scream Shoot when JT was at the top of the key. He hurried off a 3 pt shot which clanked the rim. Is DH now telling players when to shoot? And there was no shot clock issue.

That spooning motion has to be the lamest of all
things players are doing, lately.
We never have to worry about a player taking a heat-check shot.
They'll be on the bench before they get a chance.

Looked like EC took a shin/kick to the head near the end of the game. Laid there for a bit, threw off his headband and went down the tunnel. Came back to the bench a few minutes later...any word if he's ok? Definitely looked like a concussion possibility...

My memory of a SIlk Owens lead team was that of supreme confidence. Meaning I never had to worry about HOW/IF the team would be led while he was on the court. It goes to show you (me) just how good a floor general/how confident he was as a player. The swagger is needed again as a team and it starts with our point guard.

I prefer a team be led by the PG. JG certainly seems to have the personality for it but not sure if his teammates will ever let him get there. Their stature on the team & own personalities may be too strong to ever let him truly lead like Silk was able to. It helps when your PG is your best Basketball player. JG unfortunately is not.

(this is more a reflection on the greatness of Silk than the shortcomings of JG)

Teams will continue to play zone against us... We should put Terrell in the middle...He will be able to drive around the bigger defensive players. He can score, dish, and cause lots of problems for the defense. I remember when Hurley would put TJ there and it worked very well.

Yes we need him on the wing as well, but to mix it up occasionally... I love his mid range game. The one time he got it today he faked a drive the defender layed off and he drilled a jumper.
