Great analysis!!!!

Wow what an awesome game, difference between this season and last is EC draining that corner three at the end, so clutch.

We DEFINITELY have a genuine chance at coming out on top tomorrow. Can't wait

Everyone knew how big this game was. And, the team delivered. Such an impressive effort. Great coaching, too.
I don't like the fact that Duke gets 3 more hours of rest than our kids. Playing two games against good teams in less than 24 hours could be rough. Duke usually gets a big advantage with officiating, anyway.

That win reflects the character of our coach and program - toughness and tenacity. Could have folded in first half, or after losing our PG, or after everything they threw up found the net.

Langevine and Terrell willed us to hanging in there in the first half

EC and Kuran were clutch over last 10 minutes. Kuran was a difference maker, I think I said that could happen.

He really surprised me today. Very quick around the basket, doesn't hesitate, some real nice moves. He's a little undersized, but it didn't seem to matter much today. I thought Koch made a good point in one of his tweets about Cyril coming from a top 25 prep program and the moment clearly not being too big for him.

Wow.. What a game. With Hass in foul trouble and Jarvis injury it shows that we have some depth we can rely on. Washington was an absolute MAN in that game...what a great player he is. Cyril really stepped up huge today when we needed him. Very excited to see what he develops into down the road. This team really has a lot of chemistry and it is so much fun to watch. Tomorrow is a game where you got nothing to lose and I can't wait to watch it..GO RAMS!

I thought Langevine was tremendous with Hassan in foul trouble for a lot of the game. I'm guessing that battle for minutes between Cyril and Berry is tipping heavily in one direction.

What an idiot. Further proof, not that it was needed, that I should never be posting during games. I lose all ability to act rationally about anything.
Don't feel bad...I slumped in my seat thinking it likely over when Hass picked up his 4th foul...
What a game...never thought I'd be in a pack of Rhody fans chanting "We want Duke!" That was absolutely awesome...

When I was working I was told the halftime score...and thought, oh brother, it's not happening AGAIN....didn't even know about JG's injury....

What a nice surprise when later I asked a Cincy fan who had come to my window after the game...and asked him who won.....

Awesome. Biggest win for Dan here at Rhody for sure....I think we can make coach K sweat a little tomorrow....why not?

A home game for us now means 1500-200 students. I don't imagine there were anywhere near that at the Mohegan. Not many college kids can afford those ticket prices. Take it like a man, coach!

What does this even mean?

Pretty sure any team should be prepping for every game all the time. For someone to call out a specific segment or length of time that a team has been prepping for a game makes no sense.

Did anyone else notice this from the Jarvis article: "Hurley has said on multiple occasions he doesn’t intend to coach past 50 and will certainly not attempt to match his father’s tenure on the sidelines. Bob Hurley celebrated his 69th birthday in July."

Really? If so, he might finish his career here, or maybe one more stop somewhere......

On another note, from what I've heard since the game, Langevine really looked good today....that's beyond huge....that's the quality depth we need in the frontcourt......sooner than later.....

Great game. Best win in years. Exciting to be there.
JT turned this game around. He also hit a key shot early in the 2nd half.
45 points in the 2nd half. Rhody fans were loud. It sounded like the RC.

Disappointed in Thor that URI was the only team of the four that didn't have its pep band (long trip I guess).
It also seemed like the other three schools had a lower level section behind the benches. Rhody's lower level section was in the corner across from the bench side.

I was 4 rows behind the Rhody bench - thanks to Duke fans leaving after their game - got to hear/see Dan in action up close.
He is much better with the refs this year. Only got really upset once.
Classic coaching moment when he took EC out after a bad miss. EC sits down and Dam turns to him and says "relax out there".

Koch article on game is weird. He opens with "For the second time in program history, URI has won back-to-back games against ranked teams." What is he talking about? Much later in the article he tells us the other win was last year against Dayton. Then he finishes with "URI improved to 15-96 against ranked teams." Thanks for that insight. I like Bill Koch a lot but the article isn't good.
