Just got home, missed the first half. Looking at the stats. Why only one field goal attempt for both EC and Hassan?

Our defense seems much less smothering than in the previous two games. Not worried about offense atm

I wondered that to. I assume they just have nothing to replace it with.
No, Cox remains one of our corporate partners. They don't do our games for free but they sponsor the program.

Can't give up 13 offensive rebounds in a game, let alone a half

Maybe it's good that this is fairly close.....might be a little complacent.....I think they win by 20......

Going to be a lot tougher Saturday, a kick in the pants is what they might need?

I don't see any positives in having to play a close game tonight. All these games so close together we'd be better off being able to rest guys late.

Actually Brown played out of their minds. Plus refs refused to swallow the whistle.

We finally got ball to 0 to take game over....not complicated.

Rivalry grudge game, not surprised.....

Our "elite" defense was not very elite tonight for whatever reason especially in the interior, far to many easy layups. This defensive effort will end up in a double digit loss to Cincy. Perhaps playing the 3rd game in 6 days has something to do with this lackluster effort, but we better bring a different intensity on Saturday or we'll get smoked.

I will take the win. This game might help Dan. He now has some stuff to get on the players case about. Should keep the egos in place and emphasis that you can't mail it in and just expect to win. Lucky to survive with such a lackadaisical effort.

I feel like Brown always gets up for the in-state match ups.
Refs weren't very good.
Can't get out-rebounded by Cincy and expect the same result.

Way to show up Rhody nation. Have to be happy with the attendance tonight.
The energy didn't help our team, they were sleepwalking on both ends of the floor
Careless passes, stupid fouls, bad rotations on defense, bonehead plays -- Dan said he was looking for a reason to get pissed, well now he has it because an effort like that will guarantee a loss vs Cincy.
That said, all teams have efforts like these in the course of a season. Let's hope its an aberration.

silver lining, they wont be facing their 1st adversity of the year against Cincy...and this gives Hurley a chance to give them a rude awakening

I wonder if the guards leaking out and the team trying to run sacrifices some rebounding. Maybe they tone that down a notch this weekend and gang rebound.

Our rotations also stress me out. I know Hurley's defense is vaunted and has worked before and works now. But I feel like the heavy rotations get exposed sometimes if the other team makes the pass. You have to agree that there is a pass coming off the ball screen that cripples our defense against good players.

It was like you could see when they finally woke up with about 2:45 left. EC hit a shot, Terrell read a pick and roll pass beautifully and stole the ball, and then EC finished again on the other end with ease. That sequence won the game.

I love hearing the post game press conference because Hurley is not mincing words and calling out the guards for bad defense and getting embarrassed on the rebounding.

Hope we come out Saturday hungry and mad- as if we lost this game because that's what it felt like.

Needed a game like this, I was glad we got tested.

We're gonna be in an absolute rock fight Saturday and this game will make the team refocus and get ready for Cincy.

They can get away with it at home against weaker teams....but

Wow, well that was spot on. At least the first 80% of the post. Hoping the remaining 20% comes true on Saturday.
