Nice wins by Davidson and St. Joe's are offset by two bad home court losses as Duquesne falls to Canisuis, 78-77, and Mt. St. Mary's edges George Mason in OT, 78-76.

Elsewhere in A-10, Fordham won over Fairleigh-Dickinson 68-53, and VCU trounced Binghamton, 81-42. Conference goes 4-2.

On the west coast, Bryant trails Gonzaga by double digits early in the second half.

Makes it even more imperative that we win the games we should win all season.....strength of schedule isn't helped by the suck factor....

less margin for error......

Summarizing Sunday's A-10 games. The A-10 played four P5 schools and came away 1-3 for the day. Besides the URI loss to Duke.

Ole Miss beat St. Joseph's, 81-68.

Davidson beat Bobby Hurley's Arizona State team, 68-60.

Duquesne was trounced by Kentucky as part of the Bluegrass Showcase, 93-59.

Also, UMass beat Holy Cross, 68-60 in an unexpectedly close game given that the Crusaders had been routed in their first two games.

Richmond easily defeated Robert Morris, 81-69.

After a close first half, Fordham defeated Lipscomb, 85-69.
