Dayton held off Findlay 76-69 after trailing much of the game

Davidson connected on 21 threes and smoked Belmont Abbey 104-58

Saint Louis is cruising past Greenville 97-65 with 6:00 left in the 2nd Half

VCU.... LOST to Queens... 75-73 Yikes!

Goes to show why some coaches are de-valuing exhibitions in favor for closed "secret scrimmages". Better competition under tight control. No requirement to treat it like an actual game if coaches want to interrupt or play scenario based ball.

As much as I root for all A10 teams in the non-conference, VCU losing to a D2 team made me smile. Their fans have been absolutely insufferable on twitter lately.

Kendall pollard did not play for Dayton having suffered an injury during practice
Queens University of North Carolina won over VCU an a basket with 1.3 seconds remaining
7500 plus on hand to watch VCU lose
Queens 9-17 on FTs while VCU hit 25-28 FTs for those who think FTs are the end all :D
D'riante jenkins, VCU s star recruit, no points on 0-4 shooting of 3 pointers

From this past weekend..... Add Duquesne as another victim at the hands of a DII team. GW barely got by Bowie State. La Salle's exhibition against Carleton was also close, but Carleton is a very good DII team. The Bonnies cruised past Alfred.

I know we really can't and shouldn't read much into exhibitions but some of these exhibition results have been surprising.

I bet coaches almost coach to a close game. What value do you have in blowing away a team?
