Ryan Center Upgrades

Unread post by ATPTourFan »

EDIT: I'm an idiot. It's just navy blue paint, confirmed when I sat in 105 for Rhody Madness. DOH!!

Yes, I admit I'm a super nerd for even noticing, never mind caring, BUT

In the tweeted photos (especially the one with Coaches Hurley and Stevens talking), you can see additional dark blue padded sound proofing installed over formerly exposed concrete, such as below the "Fence" separating 104/105 from 204/205/206.

I'm not sure what if any sound enhancement covering up surfaces like that would be, but aesthetically, it looks better in my opinion. We will be on national TV a lot and there should be a record number of fans in the building this season.

Soon the demand for tickets will be so great that they finally take my advice and move the press to sidelines and baselines and put seats in the current press area..

Good catch indeed. Anything they can do to cover exposed concrete is good

That would be awesome...make it bigger and improve the product availability, too, please?
Not sure why they can't work something out with one of the three locals (Proclamation, Whaler's, Tilted B)
