Anyone with some knowledge care to explain the Big Heads promo? The Muppets, superheros, and random cartoon characters as "big heads" makes no sense, when we can have players, coaches, RI-themed items, etc.

If we ran out of more suitable options, then I guess that makes sense, but for now... ?

because the big heads are sponsored and is a way of advertising for Beltone players cannot be used per NCAA rules. Former players and coaches are okay. I believe when they first started they had a player and were warned by the NCAA.

on their facebook page i suggsted an Alaa Abdelnalby head...i think it would be hilarious for bobby to see a random old school Duke player in the mix of all the other heads. better than the completely random pick of heads that seemingly have little to do with anything. it should be a formula...if it were me it would be

1 hot chick
1 former player relevant to someone on the staff
1 former URI player
1 pop culture person of the moment (betty white, mc hammer, whatever)

I think they should use bobbleheads of people on this board...That might be interesting.

If they picked Christian Laetner, Bobby might get sick and have to leave.

Does anyone else think it looks ridiculous when there are so few students it looks like every other one is holding one of those things? Maybe we don't need to bring all of them out at every game.

Or maybe instead of big heads create full-frontal nude cutouts of Rihanna at the same scale and wave them at opposing players when they have the ball.
