Throw in VA or Vandy , 2 NCAA teams from last year and schedule is extremely tough, outstanding OOC schedule. They will certainly be battle tested going into the conference.
Agreed, might be the best non conference schedule Dan has put together since he's been here. Without stating the obvious, the Rams now need to win some of these games against the top competition, something that for the most part has alluded Dan so far (Cincy being the only good OOC win). We have a team with alot of experience, would be nice to get a few of these wins to build the March resume.

Going to be some close games OOC.....if we can win most of them, that to me anyway, will be the last piece of the DH puzzle as a coach....yes the end of last season was great, but need to build on that.

Alabama game

Not sure anyone noticed, but the Alabama game is listed as 8:00 EST(7 CT) and is on SECNetwork +(Plus). This is from the Tide website.
"Plus +" is on Watch ESPN and Apple TV, among others. It is not channels 611 or 611-1 on Directv. The plus network is only on the internet.

That game is the last listed on our schedule with a "TBD" time.
I may be making the trip there, like I did at Auburn for Danny's first Rhody win!

I think a 13-8 record vs these teams and a 5-3 top 50 record (playing Virginia in Brooklyn) is reasonable. Keep away from a real bad upset loss in the other 8 games and I see a 21-8 or 20-9 record. Team playing it's best in March.

Carleton, the defending Canadian national champion, has now beat three of URI's upcoming possible OOC opponents in the last two months - Vanderbilt, Alabama, and PC. Rhody fans would be thrilled to do the same.

Charleston (7) and FGCU (10) in the Top 25. Iona and UNC-Asheville also considered. Not many easy ones in this OOC schedule.

RF1,
Nice work.
As I count them it looks like 21 of 29 are in the Top 144 List
Only these games are not against Top 144 Ranked Teams:

Holy Cross
Brown
George Washington
UMASS
Fordham
Duquesne
UMASS
Richmond

Thanks. Good catch. Made the fix and added that both exhibition/scrimmage opponents made this list as well. Team will surely be tested this season.

That could be a great sports day....Rhody with a big victory against the Bonnies, possibly their only threat to contend for the A10 championship, and the Pats getting revenge for an early season loss against the Chiefs (most likely opponent), and getting to another AFCC game.
