The Early Line URI vs Davidson

Unread post by luke »

Two services have both posted their lines on this one as Davidson - 3. Avery
difficult place to win as St. Joes found out. Can URI win this game ? Sure. Will
they win ? I doubt it, but a win could do wonders for the team heading toward
Brooklyn.

I think we get over the hump on this one. Good matchup for us.

If we are without Hassan and Thompson it's going to be very tough. I mean, it's going to be very tough even with them.

I would think Hass will play. This tendinitis has apparently been an issue all season and there is no indication it is any worse all of a sudden. They're just acknowledging it now. For all we know he's been day-to-day since December and we are only hearing about it because he let the cat out of the bag after the game Saturday.

Well, it could be getting a little worse, due to his workload being increased with so little depth.

Let's hope not. The entire team, or what's left of it, should be having much shorter practices by now.

Have to keep what we've got as fresh as possible.

Sure, everybody is a little worse for the wear after every game that is played at this point in the year. Everyone it banged up, everyone is fatigued. It sounds like Hass is dealing with an actual, identifiable ailment and I'm sure every game that he plays in makes it a little more painful and a little less comfortable. But I'm saying, it isn't like he suffered a new injury Saturday. The only thing new about his injury is us knowing about it.

I say if that knee could be a problem going forward, shut Hass down for the year. We're going nowhere this year. I'd rather have him 100% to start next season.

The spread is up to Davidson -3 1/2 on most Vegas sites now.

I am surprised by that spread. I would have thought it about 6-7.......
