Cannot believe how much trouble this team has getting the ball in bounds. That is poor coaching. It never gets better. We need an offensive guru in here. Against good defenses we are terrible.

You will get run out of the gym vs VCU with 10 turnovers in a half.
As soon as Martin/Iverson went out we were dead.

Wow....what does this team eat before games....I hope we have some red bulls in the locker room. We need to try and slow the game down. We can't match their speed with our depth. What adjustments will Dan make?

I am afraid Thompson has hit the wall. He never is looking for his shot and needs to at least try a mid range jump shot.

We have to slow the game down. Going to need to play some zone or we will be in major foul trouble. If VCU is going to light us up lets make them earn it by hitting outside shots. Yes they are shooting excellent so far but all those shots are in transition. There whole game is speed....need to change up the flow of the game and hope they go cold outside. Basic coaching strategy

If we try to keep running up the court with this team it is going to play right into their game plan. For god sakes play some zone and slow it down unless it's off the break!!

VCU has a habit of doing this, especially at home. But, man, how many good looks did Rhody have off of their halfcourt offense? The missed wide open three in the corner and Hassan on a nice post move. Maybe Garrett had a nice drive. Just can't win games against good teams without consistency there.

I don't think you need a guru for that...pretty sure there are books in the library that have some better IB plays....

I was going to say that it doesn't take a guru to inbound the ball!

Thompson has folded the past few weeks. I think his future is promising. Hopefully there is a playmaker in the class that is signed and a stud the next year that plays on the wing. Just an absolute scorer regardless of height for the '17 recruiting class, if not 2.

Nothing against the 3 walk ons. They do a great job supporting their teammates. But what vcu is doing is supposedly what Hurley wants to do. We need a full roster of scholarship players . we are heading to year 5 and have not even been close to where he said we will be.

They're guarding the perimeter and even double-teaming from 20+ feet. Keep driving and slashing to the hoop and get in the bonus early and put some of their players in foul trouble.

Every team has walk ons. The problem is Iffy left, Stan Robinson is sitting because he transferred and EC is out for the season. So that's 3 scholarship players that aren't available.

We also have Berry and who knows if he'll ever get significant minutes.
