Listen our team doesn't know how to play zone which is a problem in my opinion. We are definitely a better man team but certain match ups you have to play zone. A super fast/athletic team and you are getting crushed and are in foul trouble warrants you have to play zone. VCU will be making lay ups or live at the line and we will foul out or flat out pass out with our lack of depth.

...and that settles that. Definitely respect the run when things could have gotten out of hand though. It could be all perception, but Four's +/- must be terrible right? Unfortunately we can't improve on him much even when the shots aren't falling.

Awkward to think that URI was more of a contender 2005-10 and the league also had Temple/Xavier dominating on top of all of the teams that are still ahead of us.

That hinges on winning the two home games against teams with RPI's 100+. That is usually a recipe for Rhody wins. This VCU game figured to be a loss but I thought it would be closer. Many of the team's issues exposed tonight - turnovers, poor shooting, ft shooting, and fouls. This team will probably finish .500 or just a bit better (1-2 over).

Came by to say good game guys...it wasn't a bad as you may have guys thought...Rhodi outrebounds VCU 23-14 in the first and 9-2 on the offensive boards..the problem is that your team missed a lot of layups. If Hurley can get this team to finish around the rim then you can a lot more game..your team has the talent to beat anyone in the a-10 ..they just have to capitalize on and finish at the rim..

Just undermanned. You can't win in this league if you only have 4 guys contributing. I hate to beat the same drum over and over, but there has to be some focus on developing Thompson and Akele down the stretch here because we cannot go into next season with a bench that could throw up a goose egg in an important game.
