Really despite all the negativity here we should still win this game Massachusetts is a mess.

Need to double Davis he is their only legit player.

McGlynn however will need to get hot and Martin get loose down low.

We still have better talent on the floor. Our coach needs to coach his arse off...

Not enough talent, and not enough coaching.

The ref situation just makes things worse.

We are going to have to start over again. It really sucks.

Someday we will be good. It will happen, just not for a while.

Yeah, you're wrong, but that's ok.

How do you figure? You play zone if you want to keep your guys out of foul trouble. They had no problems on the boards, didn't get killed from 3, and gave up 30 points minus the tech minus at least one run out. And, yes, stayed out of foul trouble. Again, maybe they'd improve if they actually played it.

Hassan should be dominating the UMass frontline. I've been a little disappointed his Martin's progression, I don't feel like hes gotten much better from his second semester freshman year. He seems to disappear for stretches.

No need to start over again. I know this has been and will continue to be a dismal year but with EC back next year we will be fine. Currently at 12-9 even with our faults this team would be at worse 15-6 right now with EC so the pieces are there. If any team in CBB lost their best player they would fall just as much as URI has. Duke lost their third best player and went from a top 10 team to a bubble team

The majority of those points were given up when they switched to zone. When we were playing man early on UMass couldn't score.

First time to zone in the second half, easy shot right in the paint.

I agree Hass has regressed this year. He hasn't been able to establish any type of consistant post game even when we are playing a small team. He also can't hit the 10 footer with any consistency. He can dunk and block shots but really needs to work on the rest of his game. I was sold on him early but his game was based on EC taking defensive pressure away from him.
