Can someone clue me in on this? I think I saw this footage in a coxhub piece last week.

Could care less about strength of schedule. They lose and I smile.

I still want Dunn on the celtics
Simmons, not Dunn is what the C's need. Bentil might actually be a better fit...

DiSano's Insider Breakdown. It's a good one, as always, so click through.

But first, this part is so spot on-

Terrell, Garrett, and Four McGlynn are understanding that the good times flow two ways. By not attempting to do too much and trusting these evolving role players, the role players are engaged, ready, and helping that JG, JT, Four trio be more efficient themselves. Sure, "that's a team" you say. Maybe so, but a team in theory. Translating it into competitive situations is much more difficult. That's what I've seen lately and what must continue for Rhode Island to challenge in the A10.

JG had a great all around game against UR, but I'm just repeating myself. It hasn't been that way every game. I hope that 4M, CT and NA remain active outside shooters in our offense rather than JG penetrating and dishing to HM, EW and KI. As I said we need open looks more than forced shots with the 30 second shot expiring. If we do, he will have a winning formula.

No one is going to have a great game every game, they aren't robots, they are college kids. But without a doubt JG was, is and will be our best option at PG. Any suggestion at Four or anyone else doing anything more than spot duty is absurd. I also dont mind if JG drives and dishes to Hassan for a dunk, that seems like a pretty high percentage shot. Not sure where you are going with who he should and shouldn't be passing to - he should be hitting the open guy who is in the best position to score no matter who or where they are.

good game, bad game, he's our best PG and its not even close, the rest of our guards have decent handles and can deal with some (varying degrees of) pressure, but Garrett is clearly our best at making it all go, even if he's having an off night, the guys that are having on nights need him or at the very least benefit from his ability to handle pressure, honestly it has to be one of the least debatable characteristics of this team.

Agree, one of the least debatable.....As prev admitted, I was one of the on-the-fence nuts, but he showed what he can do the other night. And even if he doesn't reach those heights again, there's no one else on the team that can do what he did, even on their best night. He's the guy.

My guess would be defensive matchups. Possibly Dan could have hid him in a zone, but Berry isn't enough of a game-changer to shift the philosophy on defense just in order to get him in the lineup. Both of Cline and Allen can score off the dribble and out to the 3pt line, we were having enough of a tough time stopping them. Berry would have made it worse.

Berry, as much as we enjoyed his cameos and productive minutes, is still at the very end of the rotation and can only be used in special situations. In time this may change.

Thank goodness Berry's break-if-emergency role won the Brown game.

Maybe Berry could've been given a shot at the always up for grabs PG role?
