Four can shoot it, but not a whole lot else.

CT has more overall game, and a much higher upside.

Good for us.

Remember how he was lost on D not too long ago? And now he was able to slow down Dunn?

Now that's something to build on.
Could not agree more. There will be few that shut down Dunn, and...when I first saw CT on him, I was not at all optimistic. Turns out he did a very adequate job. Cheers!
Agree I thought Thompson did a very commendable job on Dunn. Just the fact that Hurley would have the freshman, Thompson, cover Dunn at all should say something.

I wonder if Penders will be at the game. This year's Houston's team reminds me of his Houston teams.

I wonder if he had a hand in getting them here.

Saying Four is the best player? Thats what people do. They pick a favorite.

Usually it is according to how you like the game played and the guy's style. Nothing new.

If we had won, I would have said 6,000.

Such is the nature of URI fandom.
I would be surprised and impressed if we got 5000. This is more of a reason we should have let in more than 1500 students on Saturday - there is a chance the students might show up again if they have a good time, but only 1500 of them got to experience that atmosphere.

Interestingly the 5 kids sitting next to me in 203 all said they were students who couldnt get tickets so they had their parents buy them online that afternoon. That's kinda encouraging.

Great first half. No PC hangover it appears. Up 12 with Garrett having to spend most of the half on the bench.

Shooting into that empty seat background is going to be a potential problem 2nd half.

Can we get some upper deck folks to move down please?

Houston goes to a zone defense and URI looks completely lost on the floor, I dont know why teams dont use zone defense on us more. So going to a zone defense Houston keeps players out of foul trouble and gets back into the game. I guess its ok to play a zone defense once in a while.

If you play zone for a couple of possessions every now and then, you're basically going zone the whole game and that just can't happen

I know that Four is off again tonight, but you have to have him in there against this zone. That is why he is at URI.

I think they were doing a little offense/defense with Four when they could. Houston's quickness has been a problem for him on defense.

Yes that is what they were doing but if there is no whistle you can't get him back on the floor for offense. I think in this game situation you have to just play for the free throws. If you make them they can't come back.

That's a good win cougars might end up top 50 RPI

Reminded me a lot of a less skilled Dayton

13-27 tho yikes.

We need to get butts in those seats behind the basket. Why can't EZBuckets invite folks to move down at half time? Like shooting the ball into a black hole.
