Rod, I agree with you about Dan.

I don't think he wants to go anywhere until that happens anyway, if then.

He's inching ever so slowly toward the goal. This year was to be the year, we know that.

We will get the players in here that we need going forward, I don't doubt that.

The only question is, will he stay, and for how long, once the promised land has been reached?

Unfortunately, extreme pain has to be endured by all, before this program gets there, try as he might..

I think Dan could leave in as early as 2 years from now. It all depends.

If he stays a little longer, that could be perfect timing for either guy......

It's all a moot point, right now.
Dan can't leave until he wins.
Coaches get noticed when they make a decent
NCAA run.
If say, Penders was one and done in 1988,
he'd likely never have been close to landing a job
like Texas.

From what I've heard, Tyson isn't HC material.

I've heard this from a number of sources, all of which can't be wrong.

Preston imo would make a very good HC someday, and here if possible.

But we don't need the URI Alumni Association for a staff. Other than him, that is.
