If you hold the opponent scoreless for 8 minutes and lose that half, that is not good.

If we can hold on and get out of here with the win, it'll be a big confidence booster coming off of the EC injury. I know that sounds simplistic, but I think it's really true. This Valpo team is not a bad team at all.

I don't think Valpo's gonna be this cold for the rest of the half. They're gonna come out having made some good adjustments.

Definitely. Aside from Maryland, Valpo is probably our toughest out of conference game so this win would be huge.

Yeah, I agree with you guys. Would put a ton of wind in our sails. But it is also easier said than done. It is going to be a real challenge to pull this one out. Valpo is good, and they already survived 8 minutes of not scoring.

I'm not going to say that Iverson is not good, because I think there will be games he really helps us. But this is not that type of game.

Brutal non call on that obvious offensive goaltending. Iverson is talented but has been awful in the 2nd half

I think this rock fight style of game is just not what Iverson is good for. He needs a more wide open style, which in fairness was the plan had EC not gone down.

I don't have the stomach or patience to watch Hurley allow Iverson to "shed rust" or "learn on-the-job."

Sorry kid, only two games in, but you shouldn't be getting minutes in high-test games like this.

IDK, but they've worn our defense down and we can't keep up with the pace they're playing at now. 30 points in 15 minutes this half after 18 points in the first half.
