I have to admit I had to look up to see who they were. I guess I am officially old now at the age of 34, but they have videos on Youtube with 77 million views so that equals good get to me.

Definitely a solid plan B since Fetty was a fell through. Although not hugely popular they are well known to the college demographic.

Rae Sremmurd is hardly ground breaking music but I like their song 'No Type'.

As for the old folks here on the board who will moan and groan waving their canes saying rap is crap, you are largely right but this event isn't for you anyways.

I've heard of them. For those not paying close attention, their name spells "Drummers Ear" backwards.

George Mason is having a 'World Famous Simon Says' guy and Maryland is bringing in a magician. I'll take a rapper any day.

World famous simon says player seems fitting mason's program. As for MD - I have no idea what the #3 team in the country is doing with that.

And we're just accepting that one can get world famous by playing Simon Says? Because I have questions.

I'm not sure how many Simon Says guys are out there, but Mason has the same guy that was at the A-10 Tourney.

I consider the open practice for season ticket holders and other fans and this event for students, and I'm fine with that.

Lots of activity on twitter....looks like upper levels empty but entire lower bowl full of almost entirely students.

As it should be for an event like this, it is for the students no?

I'm not smart enough to link twitter here, Koch is there and is tweeting actively.....

#rhodymadness is updated every couple of minutes on twitter as well...

From the few clips that is easily the most impressive midnight madness we have had in a long time. Students seem to be behind this team, most anticipated season in 16 years Go Rhody!

Students were out in force despite the rain + the RC was rocking last night. Great night all the way around.

Just wanted to stop by and share Cox Hub's top-notch highlight package for those who weren't there. (It's the second video in the article)

Great video clips from CoxHub.

I like the hoodies, EC's haircut, and Nicola's flag.

This is my new favorite, though. Hassan was in the zone, could not be distracted.
