Re: 2015 Coaching Carousel
He's Jim Baron the 2nd.
His teams collapse in February, for the most part. This year, they're just bad period.
His teams run and gun, and play no defense, which usually gets you beat in close games. Helter skelter style.
Sound familiar?
Ask Rod. He'll agree.
Of course, they find a way to beat us at Mullins. That has to change this year.

Is he on the hot seat there or is he considered safe? The two guys coming in from Louisiana are solid. Baldwin I've seen play and not so impressed.rambone 78 wrote:He's Jim Baron the 2nd.

He's probably safe for now, due to that class coming in.
But who knows. I imagine he'll be on a short leash pretty soon if they don't produce.

How about Johnny Jones at LSU? 9-6 despite Ben Simmons and a ton of other Top 100 recruits. No excuse for that team to not make the tournament.

I just hope the Celtics get Simmons...they're way overdue for some luck in the lottery.

Agreed. Would really suck if the C's miss on Simmons and the Lakers get him the year Kobe retires. Then I'll think the lottery is rigged.860_rhody wrote:I just hope the Celtics get Simmons...they're way overdue for some luck in the lottery.

The Celtics won't be a lottery team this season. They aren't getting Simmons.

Re: 2015 Coaching Carousel
They have Brooklyn's pick this year. They also have the option of swapping their first round pick for Brooklyn's in 2017. And they also have Brooklyn's pick for 2018. None of the picks have lottery protection.rambone 78 wrote:The Celtics won't be a lottery team this season. They aren't getting Simmons.

Re: 2015 Coaching Carousel
The Celtics could have as many as 4 first rounders this year. One will be a top 6 or 7 pick at worst, with the possibility of it being #1.
