That was a good listen.

Dan has basically challenged his players to be great, and to put in the work needed to do that.

Especially Jarvis and EC when it comes to end of games. DH said great players want the ball at the end of games, which isn't anything new of course.

He also seemed to acknowledge that he's got work to do himself, to become better at putting his players in position to win those games.

All this is easier said than done, obviously. But they know what needs to be done.......

Pleased to hear they've been working on moving the ball more offensively. The offense seemed very stagnant at times last year. Obviously, a full puzzle helps the cause.

I would really like to hear how the coaching staff works together. How They view each other. Their impact on different parts of the program. What we could recognize as that coach's impact.

I know the Facebook Live thing is there. I think this is too much for that though. This is something I would really have liked to read from a projo writer a month ago. You know, DH star coach really enjoys the presence and impact of ARD coming home. Plus our Dave cox fix explaining how Cox has come into his own.

BUT, Projo has to focus on URI's attendance, URI relative to PC's best team in 20 years, or Duke University.

I realize going on the road to local venues with food and drink is important, but the opening nite coaches show at the RC, with food, drink and better sound system was well done. Imagine how good that on campus location would be with a full sports bar/eatery type venue.....but we have plowed this ground before....the TBD dates should be on campus......ooops except for the 12/27 one....

Yup, 2 kids under 3 running around and only been married 4 years. When the boys are old enough to tag along I am sure I'll be allowed. Maybe ill even be able to sell it as a date night with dinner and drinks.

I thought it was interesting that Hurley made it a point to say Jarvis needed to take the team over. While everyone else has seemed better off with EC's return I imagine it must be hard for Jarvis to make sure everyone gets enough touches and he gets his own offense. Exciting to think there is another level for this offense to reach.

Yeah last year Jarvis was a 15 to 20 point threat for most of the year last year.
If we can get him back to being an offensive threat like that boy can we be good!
Thus far Jared Terrell has been our best guard. He's been awesome. He always bring it.
If we get EC and Jarvis on his level of confidence we will LEVEL the A-10

Thanks for posting ATP. Listened to all 45 minutes and was most interesting. Regarding view of the Top 25 Rankings and Polls Dan said the team had not put focus on these as a team goal but he did say that being ranked Top 25 definitely was a boost to recruiting. He liked being ranked.

The shows are scheduled way in advance as to not interfere with game preparation/travel, etc. There was never to be a show this week.

It's tough to talk to a guy who supposedly knows the game 100x more than we do, about the things we see going wrong on both sides of the ball....

It's hard to imagine he and his staff don't see what's going on out there....I'm sure they do.....but the same things happen every time....it's at the point where you watch the first 35 minutes of a game, and if it's close....you just know they're going to lose...so why watch?

Anyway, anything said will be one on one when the time comes.....

You could ask your questions in the group setting too. Wouldn't you think most all the people at the show at least read this board periodically if not contribute to the board?
If your more comfortable one on one go for it that way too but it will be tough to catch him without others around I think.
