Unread post by Obadiah »

In a Hall of Fame Tip-Off game, Ohio State easily disposed of Albany, 82-60. Albany actually led 23-22 late in the first half, but an angry timeout by Thad Matta was follow by a 17-2 OSU run to end the first half. The Buckeyes hit on 12-20 from beyond the arc.

In another HOF Tip-Off game, after a close first half Washington was able to pull away to beat visiting Loyola (MD), 85-63.

Brown, led by its guard duo Matt Sullivan with 18 points and Sean McGonagill with 16 points, rallied in the second half at Binghamton to win, 58-49.

In a close one in the first round of the Legends Classic, Georgetown fought off Duquesne, 61-55. The Dukes had cut the Hoyas lead down to three on a Jeremiah Jones three pointer with 30 seconds left in game, but Georgetown made critical free throws to seal the win.

In Dallas, SMU easily beat Loyola Marymount, 73-58.
