Anyone have a pic of what it used to look like? I bet some of you went on a tour of the Ryan Center back before it hosted its first real basketball games.

I remember it was fairly roomy, but spartan.
Now, let's get some nice industrial carpeting for the common areas at Ryan and finish it off
in style. The raw or painted concrete is ugly.

As an FYI, I believe there has been arranged, a "behind the scenes" tour of this and the other behind the curtain RC things sked for the home game in the Big Chill Weekend home game in Feb '13.

Also, the football locker room isn't anything too special. They made it look real nice, however, when they converted it to the media room for the NCAA when the women's tourney was in town.

I was impressed with how Hurley got this done. He appealed to boosters who put together a package. Baron complained a lot about facilities, but never was able to rally people the way Hurley already has. Baron seemed to want URI to pay for it, and that wasn't going to happen.
Hurley saw a problem and found a solution in a hurry.
