- St Peter's beats Big East Rutgers and they were underdogs by 22
- Steve Mejia with a dismal game in a 29 point loss by Hofstra to "powerhouse" Monmouth
- George Mason beats ACC Virginia even without former URI recruit and Roland Houston's nephew, suspended Eric Copes
- Former URI recruit Robert Carter with 9 points, 7 rebounds starting in his first game for Ga Tech in victory over Tulane
- South Alabama upsets 25th ranked Florida State with transfer from Miami Antoine Allen going for 22
- Bucknell with a nice upset over Big Ten Purdue at Purdue
- Former URI recruit Ray Lee from Romulous HS (played last year with EC Mathews) had 12 points, 7 assists in Eastern Michigan victory
- Former URI recruit Anton Wilson 0 points in 8 minutes in Detroit victory. Former recruit, now a Senior Jason Caliste had 8 points, 4 assists starting at PG for Detroit
- Bryant destroyed by Indiana

PC hangs on 64-63 over NJIT, Council left in the first half with an apparent left hamstring injury (did not return)

The only team that NJIT is better than is South Harmon Institute of Technology (you had to see the movie!).
