Low expectations? I'll take it. Sounds like 90% of the time when they underrate URI and then we prove them wrong.

I'm not saying we're going to be top 5, but I see us 10th.

If you say you’re a Rhody fan, I know you are my brother. For you have suffered as I have suffered.

That automatically generated Projo preview is great. All we need to do now is just post the link to content we want to share the this new forum gives us a sweet preview without having to mess with the BBcode tags.

Jim Baron made a career out of beating the preseason rankings. They really don't mean squat. I'm excited for HOOPS!!!

OB will be starting that probably by next weekend, once everyone is safely over to this board.

This season will be an interesting one to predict. New players, new system and new conference members....a lot of other schools improved. The one safe prediction, however: This team will work hard and be fun to watch!

While I'm getting increasingly optimistic, I don't think anyone knows what we have, coaches included. At this point, I'll be happy with a trip to Brooklyn at the end of the season.

It's so tough to get a handle on any predictions when we really don't know half the team and how they are going to transition. I think we all have faith in Danny and his coaching staff but the league is stacked this year and the unknown is so tough to predict.

I think we will be able to play with - Duquesne, Fordham, GW, Richmond, LaSalle, and the Bonnies. Luckily, although a few of them had better than average years in 11-12, they lost a lot of personel. The other nine teams would be a stretch for us this year. So 6-10, if the world was perfect, but I am thinking we could have 4-5 wins in conference. I don't think that will get us to 12th.

OOC will be a real struggle. There are only five OOC teams on the schedule that had +120 rpi's. So again, in the perfect world we have a chance at 11 wins overall, but more likely 6-9. If we make Brooklyn, I would rate the year as a good start in the right direction.
