Sounds like Baron was desperate to bring in any decent player towards the end, no matter their character flaws. Bull, Sponge ...

As for Dominique Bull, he actually verballed to URI his Junior Year but URI decided they no longer wanted to pursue him in his Senior year. Having seen him play numerous times for BABC I thought at the time it was a good decision by URI's recruiting staff. Bull is about 6'3", does not shoot the ball well and does not really even look for his shot much. I was very surprised Missouri pursued him, and never expect him to have much impact at the SEC level. Not a point guard and not a shooting guard but a guard in size. When I saw him he was about the 7th or 8th guy off the bench for BABC. Rene Castro and Jaylan Brantley are much higher prospects from BABC then Bull. He seems like a good kid, but to me is over his head at Missouri and will likely become disenchanted - or maybe already has. Again, I was happy that Baron and Company pulled out of this verbal. No way would he be playing ahead of Buchanan, Mumford, Powell.
As for Dai-Jon Parker, not surprising that he got suspended. He was targeted to be the starting shooting guard this year for Vandy, but I did not think that he warranted a ranking in the Top 50 in HS. His recruitment really went to his head, not really all that great a 3 point shooter but that is what he is billed as. His HS Coach was forced to resign last month for using "undue influence". His HS team is now ineligible for post season play. Talented player but tends to show his attitude and had

Dai-Jon Parker to Vanderbilt
Posted on November 6, 2010 by miltonbball11
Senior SG Dai-Jon Parker announced at Midnight Madness that next year he will be attending Vanderbilt University to play basketball in the Fall. Parker chose the Commodores over the University of Rhode Island, Oregon State University, Oklahoma State University and the University of Georgia.
Parker is the 5th Eagle to commit to play basketball in college. Jordan Loyd will play for Furman University; Eric Riley will play for Emory & Henry; Julian Royal will play for Georgia Tech; and, Shannon Scott will play for Ohio State

ramster: agree 100 percent on your assessment of Bull. Preston liked him because he was a big, strong guard but his skill level was questionable.
