Blum is actually a Syracuse fan; I don't think he warrants comparison to that other clown. That site does a nice job covering New York City hoops. I especially like what John Templeton writes. That article was a poor effort, of course; the first draft didn't even have St. Joe's listed.

All kidding aside, how does a conference initiate that process? What steps need to be taken to remove a team?

I don't believe the A10 has any process in its bylaws for the removal of a member institution.

I agree...but you can't really say St Bonnies is dead weight, they did make the NCAA last year and won the conf.

If you want to say that on the grounds of their pathetic HS gym, that's fine...but it still stands that they've done more financially for the conference than we have in over a decade...even with our "last four" NIT appearance. That'll obviously change soon, but that point remains.

As for the dukes and fordham..yeah they can get bent and play in the patriot where they belong: constant bottom feeders, never had a basketball history, have terrible facilities, etc.

Plus Pittsburgh. Gross.
