It was real strange driving by the MBTA Canton Junction Commuter Rail station today (as I do every day) and seeing no cars in the lot on a work day.

Several coworkers that live in Waltham and Boston did not come into work as their areas are in lockdown.

Unbelievable.

Per Projo, suspect in RI?

Police in RI seek car thought used by Boston terror suspect

April 19, 2013 10:26 am By Thomas J. Morgan
PROVIDENCE, R.I. -- Police in Rhode Island are alerting officers on the streets to be on the lookout for a car believed to contain Dzhokhar A. Tsarnaev, 19, the surviving suspect in the Boston Marathon bombing.

The car was described as a gray Honda CRV with Massachusetts plates 316-ES9.

Tsarnaev should be considered armed and dangerous, the police broadcast said.

Just heard an interview with a neighbor and former teacher who said he recognized the photos but didn't think it could be this kid. He didn't want to alert police because he didn't want to waste their time looking for the wrong suspect.
Who knows if this additional carnage of last night could have been avoided.

Oddly, the one that was killed, was trying to become a heavyweight boxer on the
US Olympic Team.
He won The Rocky Marciano Award, as the best heavyweight amateur boxer in NE.
Supposedly said he didn't have one American friend and "didn't understand them".

Their father is holding the US responsible for the lives of his sons. Says "all Hell will break" out if this kid is killed. Even threatening to sue the US.

Well, trying to find this one person is shutting down an
entire city.
Just amazing. They told people working in Boston to go home.
The Sox might postpone their game tonight.
MBTA isn't running.
What a sick world.

I heard this about 11AM this morning on one of these tv stations. I can't remember which one. I've been switching around all day. I'm sure they'll say more about this tonight. Haven't seen it in print yet.

I just checked my yahoo page and it's there. Aparently, it was first stated on Good Morning America this morning. I believe he called for his son to surrender so that he can be departed back there. Right. That'll happen.

Was just out and about because I couldn't take being cooped up anymore. There are definitely people around, but certainly the city isn't as busy as it usually is. I'd estimate that more than half of the businesses in my neighborhood are open.

One of the CNN reporter changed the name of the town of Watertown to Waterton.
Even though she was reporting from there, she kept saying, Waterton, over and over.
