US did outplay Ghana for the most part. Guzan made a great save off a penalty kick at the end of the first half. Honestly it was a BS call and Ghana should have been called for a worse infraction in the box early in the 2nd half. After US went up 2-0, they had several good opportunities to score again, but some good saves and near misses kept it at 2-0. Then Ghana scored on a broken play and lax D by US. All in all a good fun game. I was surprised by the number of Ghanans (is that the right term?) that were there. It must have been at least a 3rd!

Funny, my buddy and I were having a long discussion about what someone from Ghana refers themselves as. I suppose I could have asked one of them.

I have a brother in law from the Ivory Coast. They call themselves Ivoreans.
