Spur - Heat

Unread post by rodfromcranston »

Ancient Spurs kicked the crap out of The Heat tonight.
If it weren't for four straight missed free throws by their
two best players, this might have been 3-0 now.
Tim Duncan is an amazing player, and the Spurs' team spirit is
so refreshing in the "me first" world of sports.
They may not win the championship, but this is a team worth rooting for.

I really want the Spurs to win. Can't stand the heat, and who in Miami is actually a sports fan? It would detract from time staring at their selfies.

This is just too beautiful!
The Spurs are really handing the Heat their heads.
Again, but for four straight missed free throws, this could be over.
ESPN might have to go off the air, without Lebron is God stories.
GO,SPURS!!!

Spurs did it in style.
I don't recall such a one sided NBA Finals.
Wonder what The Heat will do now? LeBron needs more
superstars to join him, to get the five more rings he
said they'd get when he made his "I'm taking my talents to
South Beach!" declaration.

Not many teams with cap space out there, unless he thinks he has a better shot with the Lakers (the corpse of Kobe, but Gasol's contract is up I believe and signing LeBron eliminates any cap space they have) or the Mavericks (Dirk and spot-up shooters). I think he stays with Miami for one more year, to see what their plans are to replace Wade. Of the big three, he looks pretty cooked, and unlike the Spurs, Miami hasn't done nearly as well as filling in the margins of the team via the draft and free agency.

I literally drank champagne last night. Leonard and Paddy Mills are my guys forever now.

Based on Wade's play in this series, you would think he was five years older than Ray Allen. If he's not hurt, then I don't know how much longer he'll be a viable starter in the NBA.

an early exit couldn't happen to a nicer guy.
No question, a dirty player who ended the Celtics run on one take-down.
He should have served a suspension during those play-offs.

Wade has seen his best days. Bosh is a soft big man, nowhere as good
as hyped.
This means Lebron finishes his career in mediocrity.
What will ESPN do without LeBoron Worship Hour on a daily basis?

I have a feeling "Johnny Football" will get a lot of their attention, whether he starts or not.

High school players should study Spurs game film. That is great team play and brilliant passing.
