Been to 3 beaches in the last 4 days...major seaweed in the surf at all 3 (Scarboro N, SK Town Beach, East Matunuck)...
Didn't go very often last year, but don't recall there being anywhere near this much seaweed....what's up with that?

Water has been rough, so it will stir up the seaweed.

Well...hopefully, it calms down soon... have more PTO than I can use, so have been taking half days to go to the beach.

There's a tropical storm that's passing to the south of us. While we won't get hit with wind or rain, it will make surfers happy. Maybe it'll settle down by the end of the week.

Watch hill was pretty clean. Narragansett town beach too, but Yea Sand hill cove was weedy.

Hurricane off the coast. Big storms always churn up a ton of seaweed.

Monday should be gorgeous. Just don't look at the sun around 2:46 pm

Beach was awesome, most of the seaweed gone...and now that the eclipse is over, it's safe to stare at the sun again
