Billy, SG, UCH - got your emails. Not sure if twisted got any. I will setup the league and send emails out once we get a few more in so I don't have to do a ton of batches.

OK, I have forwarded the email addresses sent to me so far to twisted, who is going to take the lead in organizing and setting up the league.

I'm also moving this to the NCAA or Bust board for the time being to try to give everyone a chance to climb on board.

Any ideas for draft time yet? I have another draft at 4:00 on Sunday the 4th. Other than that, I should be available any time on the weekend and any night after 7:00.

This would probably be best for me, since I have two drafts already on the 3rd, and my girlfriend probably won't be pleased if I have a third on the 4th. The 31st isn't great for me, but I could make that work. (I could also just rank and autodraft, if we have a majority for another day/time.)

ok so running ram has made my commish of the league now.

What I need to know is:

1) Who from last year is not playing this year
2) when if best for everyone to draft. I will try to find a time that works best for every.

The keeper rule will be 1 player, you cannot keep the same player as last year. You lose the equivalent draft pick this year

so guys these are the options i'm thinking of for drafting

it appears not everyone can do Weds (8/31), Thursday (9/1) or Friday (9/2)
Saturday Night 9/3
Sunday Night 9/4
Monday Night 9/5 (this may be best for everyone but no one has talked about Monday yet)

I have another draft monday the 5th at 8p, but if we draft at like 8:30 or later, or 7:30 or earlier, so i can focus on the first few rounds of each, i don't see why i can't get have two draft rooms open at once and just pay attention. I guess I'm saying monday night works good for me as long as the draft start time isn't exactly the same as my other draft.

ok so it sounds like Monday night works best, is 9PM good for everyone?

That also means your deadline for choosing a keeper is Sunday so I can approve of everything before the draft.

The only person i have no heard from is gorhody89 so if anyone is reading this and may be interested let me know

I have a question. Say that, for example, I drafted a player from Round 5 last season. This season, the player is ranked in the first round.

Would I lose a pick this season from round 5 or round 1?

I'm pretty sure it's where you drafted him last year.

Okay thanks, how would I check where the player was drafted if I don't remember off the top of my head?

Where it says "Draft", if you click there, one of the options is "Last Season". That shows last year's draft.

Will we be doing an auction draft, or snake? If it's not too late to change I'd like to do auction, all my other leagues are snake, would be nice to change it up

Agree. I've never done an auction draft before, and also, I doubt I'd have a ton of time on Monday night to delve into it and also to draft.

Auctions are awesome but we need more notice to prep. Also, they take a LONG time. Well worth it, IMO, but we need to be more organized for that. We barely got this thing off the ground this time around.

see you all for a snake draft monday night. Dont hate but Im a packer fan. I was a sophomore in Heathman when the famous Elway helicopter spin in the super bowl occured and defeated the Packers. I holed up in my room and many people were bangin on my door to bust my balls. Packer fan and URI hoop fan is a weird combo

Yeah, thanks for not doing a ridiculous auction draft. Leave those for the serious money leagues where participants can prepare well in advance. This Keaney Blue league is just for fun and shouldn't be consuming a lot of time, especially when many of us are in other leagues that demand more of our time and attention.
