ULTRA-TACKY, INSENSITIVE ESPN SUB-HEAD (6 DAYS & COUNTING!!)
"One-handed player
Donovan reaches out"
Surprised and shocked that this tease has been online for six days, and that ESPN has let it stand….
Even more shocked that ESPN's ombudsman didn't even internally, unilaterally have it yanked!!!!!

I remember when I was in high school, the Bruins played Buffalo in the playoffs, and lost in 6. In that series they were completely destroyed by Michael Peca...he did an awesome job of distributing the puck, carrying the play and completely neutralized Jason Allison after game one.
Before game 6, the Boston Globe sports section ran a headline that said, "Any way you measure it, Sabres' Peca is huge."
I'm very drunk right now, so this might not have actually happened, but I think it did.

Yeah, and about 25 years ago, Donaldson had a line in his weekly football picks about "Barney Frank becoming the Pats' new tight-ends coach," that got by the editors!!!!

Eh, I don't think it's particularly bad. I mean, the guy doesn't have a hand - that's the noteworthy part of the story. While I'm sure it's something difficult that he's had to overcome, it seems like he has for the most part, and it's the whole reason they're doing the story on him.
