Yes, absolutely in walking distance.

I'll let someone else help with recommendations.

Pane e Vino, ElmCityRhody…..Excellent and reasonable!!!!!! Plus, it has a "three course prix fixe menu," if you so choose. Very friendly staff, efficient, etc., I'd be pretty sure that the reviews are good. (The wife and I were lucky enough to receive some gift certificates to go there! :D :D :D :D ) 8-) 8-) 8-) 8-)

Camille's is a little more pricey, but worth it. There is a dress code.

There are plenty of Groupons or Get My Perks vouchers for establishments in Federal Hill. Caffé Dolce Vita is reasonably priced and has great food, but lacks the ambiance. Amici Sports Bar and Grill is good, think upscale sports bar. D'vine on the Hill is really good. My wife and I love it there.

I enjoyed Costantino's Venda Ravioli last time I was in Rhode Island - great patio seating.

If you are looking for pizza you can only find in RI you must visit Caserta on Spruce St., in between D'vine and Pastiche....I don't know how casual you want to dine...

Come on Romulus, while RI beats CT in just about every category.. I must draw the line and have some new haven pride and defend our pizza.. haHa.. All in good fun.. I appreciate the feedback.. As I said before, RI is a great state.. I'm looking forward to coming up this weekend.. I'll prob dine in somewhere on the fancier side, then do waterfire.. Then go for some drinks..

Andino's is good, and Pastiche is a must for dessert. Both the fruit tart and chocolate torte (sp?) are amazing. I'm sure everything else is good too, I just can't get past those two options.

ECR.....I wasn't dissing New Haven pizza.....as a matter of fact I especially like it......just saying that the Caserta pizza is different than most other pizzas in the world....and you should try it.......when friends and relatives come back to visit RI after moving away Caserta and NY System weiners are mandatory stops for all......

Agree, Ramulous.
Most of what passes for pizza in this State is, Greek pizza
or lousy chain pizza.
You know you you've had a Greek pizza, when you can still stand your own
breath after eating it. No garlic!
I love the Hill. Too bad these clubs are bringing in the wrong element, and
spoiling it for people, who there to enjoy the good food and atmosphere.

Ramulous.. next time you are in town.. I'll hook you up w/ some abeetz !

Of course everyone loves Pepe's and Sally's.. but.. I'm a big fan of Modern Apizza... I think it's better.

And Pepe's jumped the shark now that they are opening up all over the place.

Also, a favorite of mine is BAR.. their pizza is solid, and waitresses put that place over the top :))
