If he's such a good businessman and he's so wealthy, why have his businesses gone bankrupt so often?

Um, tRUMP did not get an MBA from Warton.
He claims he was tops in his class.
More tRUMP lies.
As for his businesses, he's collateraled up to his ass.
Who the hell goes bankrupt six times running casinos????
If money is your only criteria for being qualified for office,
better check on the at least 200 Americans who can bury
tRUMP, as far as their worth.
Gates, Bloomberg, Buffet, etc. REAL billionaires who pay taxes.
When Buffett challenged tRUMP to match tax returns,
line by line, fat boy's asshole puckered.
Con man, nothing more.

I expect that Blueram and NYGFan_Section208 will be just as outraged over this corrupt organization as they were towards the Clinton Foundation... There is no way these two articulate Trump supporters would have a double-standard...right?

Whoa...wait a sec there...I am NOT an articulate guy...

Update, 4:18 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 20:Trump's transition team emailed a statement from spokeswoman Hope Hicks. It reads: "The Opening Day event and details that have been reported are merely initial concepts that have not been approved or pursued by the Trump family. Donald Trump Jr. and Eric Trump are avid outdoorsmen and supporters of conservation efforts, which align with the goals of this event, however they are not involved in any capacity."

Interesting you left out the very next paragraph.

"The statement and transition official did not address Donald Trump Jr. and Eric Trump serving as directors of the Opening Day Foundation. Nor did it explain how the Trump brothers came to be listed on the event's brochure, which organizers circulated among conservative political donors in recent days."

Blueram really does think he is going to pay less in taxes by the end of these next four years. Unless your Tom Ryan typing behind that computer, you don't make enough for Trump to lower your taxes.

Come one guys. We all know of his successes such as...

Right now I am studying for my Trump University exams while sipping on Trump Vodka while dining on Trump Steaks by Sharper Image while perusing Trump magazine while watching the Trump animated series on TV & playing on my smartphone on the "Trump Tycoon" mobile app. I just wish I could use the GoTrump.com travel booking service to visit one of his Trump casinos.

If he simply just invested in father's inheritance in index funds, he would have made more money than he has now.

Trump's net worth has grown about 300% to an estimated $4 billion since 1987, according to a report by the Associated Press. But the real estate mogul would have made even more money if he had just invested in index funds. The AP says that, if Trump had invested in an index fund in 1988, his net worth would be as much as $13 billion.

Did Spooky's daddy leave him the equivalent in 2016 dollars
of 1.8 BILLION dollars?
Did his daddy give him a 9 million dollar "small loan" in the 60's?
Fat orange clown, was born with a silver spoon in his ugly mouth.
(ever notice how he purses his lips to resemble a butthole? His whole
family does that!))
His air of entitlement to everything he sees,
bears this out.
As Mark Cuban said, "tRUMP was born on 3rd base and
he thinks he hit a triple."

Just sayin'...regardless of starting point...he (supposedly) achieved a 300% increase in net worth and we're told he "could have tripled that " if he simply just_______..."

If SD is going to "simply just" criticize the choice, I assume he would have made the right one...and seemed like a reasonable question to ask. I understand there's much to criticize here...but criticizing a 300% increase based on past investment strategy is a bit of a reach, I think...unless the choice was so clear, 'everyone else' would've done the same. (PS - Not sure anyone 'really knows the guy's finances).

I used to like Cuban and Dirk has always been one of my all-time favorite players (ok, ok, no...I'm not a huge fan of defense)...but he seems to have turned into a serious doosh these days (Cuban, not Dirk).

Bud, I did mention that there isn't (and likely may never be) certainty re: his worth. I don't care what kind of b-man Cuban is...I still think he's a doosh, but wouldn't go as far as the nickname you've chosen for the Prez-elect. Being a good businessman does not a 'not a doosh' make

Clownstick McFuckface was Jon Stewart's nickname for
tRUMP.
Cuban is the real deal, not aq fraud like tRUMP.
I also love Dirk's career.
Imagine, Al Skinner thought Dirk was a lock for BC.
Instead, he turned pro.

It's hard for me to even accept the "prez-elect" term.......last time I checked, he was almost 3 million votes in arrears...what a joke....a few votes in a few states thanks to the antiquated Electoral College system.....

The president should be elected over 50 states, not a few.........this system makes it too easy to manipulate.......as we've seen....and will see again I'm sure.........

The final totals gave tRUMP 46%.
That means 54% voted for someone else.

Bill Clinton kind of savaged Trump yesterday. I'm of two minds on that. On one hand, it kind of makes him look like a petty sore loser and that's not the best look for any political spouse, never mind one that is also a former President - it's unbecoming of the position (although not nearly as unbecoming as Trump's mere existence). On the other hand, everything he said was true, including the fact that trump didn't win "in a landslide" as he's been claiming - in addition to losing the popular vote by 3,000,000 he won with one of the smallest electoral margins in history, and he won in the three states that swing the election by approximately a combined 75,000 votes which is a razor's edge in a country of 350M people.

Based on Trump's new tax brackets, I would expect about a $4,000 - $6,000 a year benefit. Unless you work for Paychex or are my wife, you have no idea what I make.

What is it with Russia? I mean Reagan got rid of the USSR. Bush had Russia in the coalition against 911. So what happened? Obama? Ukraine? If Ukraine was so vital to the US, would we not wage war on Russia? I just don't get the Russia thing.

Part of it is Russia's need to be a super power in the world but their influence has been eroding and part of it is Putin is essentially in charge of and gets his money skimming from the oil industry. As the world has to move away from oil and other oil producing nations undercut Russia's product he begins to lose money. Both things are causing him to lash out and try to show how powerful Russia is. The Ukraine situation isn't a cause, it's a symptom.

I get the oil situation very well. As soon as we are fully oil independent, which will happen under Trump, then Opec and Russia can go pound sand economically regarding oil.. It's happening now with shale. Same with the ME. Once oil becomes irrelevant, the Middle East is going to self implode. They have nothing else.

Blueram, only way we become fully independent from oil is from a broad diversification of energy sources with a heavy investment into renewable energy sources. Fracking has been friggin terrible. Contaminates the water supply and has caused earthquakes. That is why the so-called "boom" cycle is in the decline. The energy companies are facing too many lawsuits. Obviously, I wouldn't expect you to keep up with current news that falls outside your limited view of the world....

I spent a good part of my life training to go to war against a nuclear opponent. In the Fulda Gap. I was prepared to do it. I don't see Russia as a threat as I did see the Soviet Union. And the only one getting cozy with a dictator is the left. AKA Cuba.

WHILE YOU WERE ALL OCCUPIED BY THE HOLIDAYS HERE IS ONLY SOME OF WHAT HAS TRANSPIRED THUS FAR...AND SO IT BEGINS:

Goodbye transparency: GOP will not allow the Congressional Budget Office to track the deficit that will be created by the repeal of the Affordable Care Act. (this was not just reported by Fox News...nor will you typically find me using Fox News as a source for anything else, but this article happens to be pretty accurate)
http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2017/01 ... -part.html

REIN's Act Passes the House:
"Republicans lawmakers on Thursday pressed ahead in trying to strip down U.S. regulations, with the House of Representatives passing a bill that requires Congressional approval of major rulemakings that could affect areas ranging from the environment to education." (Goodbye clean water, clean air, climate change information, & hello oil, coal, denial, & corruption)
http://www.reuters.com/article/us-usa-c ... SKBN14Q07B

House reinstates 1876's Holman Rule:
"At the same time, opponents and supporters agree that the work of 2.1 million civil servants, designed to be insulated from politics, is now vulnerable to the whims of elected officials." (They can cut federal employee salaries down to $1 where they see fit. Goodbye EPA employees, Energy employees, and more.
Remember when Trump's transition team sent a letter asking for the names of people who were working on climate change related research: http://www.nytimes.com/2016/12/09/us/po ... .html?_r=0)

This is going to be such a disastrous 4 years.......it's going to take many years to undo the damage that this administration and congress will do....

When all is said and done, if there's any justice, the repub party will be lucky to be in this position ever again....

trump's approval ratings will be the lowest in history when people who voted for him wake up and realize "what have we done?"

In 2 years anybody with any sense of decency should vote the GOP out of office in droves......and then finish the job in 2 more years after that....

Over. Republicans would have to vote to impeach him, and it's not like he has the humility to resign over any sort of scandal he might be involved in. I think he does the four full years, with a really, really slight chance that something happens after two if things are especially dire. (i.e. A catastrophic election loss on a single issue to impeach him for some reason.) It's hard to imagine how Trump could have managed his entrance to office worse than he has though.

Yeah, I tend to agree. While part of me wonders how this could possibly continue going on as it has (and he isn't even in office yet), there is another part of me that has to be reminded that I thought the same thing throughout his entire campaign and well look where we are today.

I saw the UK has 50/50 odds that he will be impeached. I don't think he will due to the kind of congress we have. I do think there may be good odds that he can't handle the job and steps aside after two years or that he gets assassinated by someone, likely a reporter.

If we've learned anything this last 18 months, it's that Trump thinks he's a success no matter what the facts say. He was born on second base, got picked off, claims he hit a triple, and got idiots to think he hit a homer. No matter how unsuccessful he'll be, he'll find a scapegoat for his lunatic following to attack.
