Yep. That's the biggest feature.

Also we now have ability to like posts. You can see how many likes someone has earned in their profile box next to their posts.

Keep the feedback coming. I am really pleased with how it all went tonight and how good things look.

ATP - Thanks for all your hard work.

Quick question: Do you know if there's any way to make the display wider? It only takes up about 50% of my screen width and the old phpBB took up the entire width. See attached partial screenshot.

Your browser should allow you to zoom. Usually the keys command is control- +. Press control and the equals/plus key together or issue the command via the browser's zoom menu.

Yeah I can zoom, but that also makes the text larger. I didn't know if there was a widescreen mode or any settings that I could adjust. The old version of phpBB that we used was wide screen. Thanks anyways. I do like all the additional features though!

Sorry. What is your screen resolution?

If this is an issue for others I may be able to widen the template. It won't ever go to unlimited width like the old system, however.

I like the new layout but agree with widening a bit. The resolution on the screen I'm working on right now is 1920 x 1200. There is a good 3 inches of gray on each side of the template.

I see some gray, too, but I'm OK with it. I would be fine with widening as long as it doesn't impact the layout on phones.

I also have a 1080p screen but I zoom to 150% and have the gray too.

Full width doesn't look all that great either.

I think the solution will be to extend the max width another 200 or so pixels. That will require less zooming on really large screens.

Even if you go to state-of-the-art sites like espn.com, with no zooming on my big, wide screen, there is the same amount of dead space. So I will experiment with a wider max-width than what we have, but I won't go to fill-the-screen width because the layout would be worsened for a relatively small % of the user base.

OK, I've widened the max-width by almost 200px and allowed the keaneyblue banner to go to 995x100px (its native size).

TruePoint and others: Have you gotten used to the avatars on the right yet?

I find that since we read left to right, it is easier for me to read through a thread since less important stuff is on the right and the main post content is immediately available on the left edge.

Also with responsive mobile design this is a moot issue. More than half the time I just use my phone.

Yeah, I mostly read on my phone so this set up is much better on mobile. On my laptop I'm used to it - don't know if it is better but it is definitely not worse.

I just logged in and wasn't sure if something was going on with my computer, but I'm glad to see you widened the screen. Looks awesome!

The avatars on the right are different, but I'm sure I'll get used to it.

Only thing I notice on my screen is that the banner at the top of the page doesn't take up the whole space. Not a big deal - just pointing it out in case you didn't notice.

I'm well aware... haven't had time to request a new banner from our "media department" (aka Adam).

The layout with avatars on the right was not a design decision I made, just for the record. It's the default layout of the phpBB forum software.

Favicon restored. I switched to a cleaner higher resolution basketball icon. I am also trying to get the icon to work on iOS and Android.

Flush your cache or super reload the page to get the icon to show.

Is the bookmark icon working for anyone with iOS or Android?

I can only get the icon to work on my iPhone when I make the site a home screen button like any other app. But when I open safari bookmarks it just shows generic oen
