For Buzz Williams and Danny Manning, it's a race to the phones.

Why do we care about Josh Fortune again? I don't get why this thread has over 50 responses.

Why do you care?? why check the thread at all if it should be of negligible significance to you? And why are you soooooo frightened of other people's opinions? I swear every time anyone gets excited about anything at all on this board you take it as a chance to pontificate. If you're going to come around and put people down for expressing their opinions, at least do your job and keep the recruiting bio's up to date.

No clue what you're ranting about. I'm just curious why we are so interested in Josh Fortune. Doesn't seem like something that matters all that much.

Maybe he was upset that PC was recruiting JT who plays the same position and could steal playing time from him. And this a 'screw you' to PC for the attempt.

He is very inconsistent as a player, so he might feel insecure about future playing time and is looking for a place where he can be the man. Maybe Canisius. Heh heh...

Home to Baton Rouge = 1100 miles

It would appear that for some reason he really wanted out of PC. He seemed to have a good situation.

Didn't like what Cooley had to say in end-of-year evaluation

BOULDER, Colo. -- Colorado basketball coach Tad Boyle has signed Providence transfer Josh Fortune to a financial aid agreement and will add the junior to the 2014-15 roster.
Fortune will have two years of eligibility remaining after sitting out the upcoming season under NCAA rules.
Fortune is a 6-foot-5, 205-pound guard from Hampton, Virginia, who started all 35 games for Providence last season when he averaged 8.4 points and 2.1 assists.
He helped lead Providence to the Big East Conference tournament title by averaging 14.3 points in three games over three days.
