Most of ND State's players are from Out of State.

Yes,I bet Delaware,Maine and UNH's are also.
Find a way to get some kids in,coach 'em up and stop the excuses!!

A lot of our players are from out of state. And they aren't very good. Didn't Steve Nelson play at N D State?

I think the push is for football to recruit as many players from RI as possible, instead of finding the best players, since a scholarship for a RI player cost less than one from Out of State. That's my assessment, I never heard that officially.

If that is true, then football will never have a chance. No way is there enough good RI players to field even a mediocre team at the CAA level.

URI probably needs at least 90% out of state players, most of them good. If they don't want to pay for the higher cost scholarships, then why bother fielding a team?
