URI released their baseball schedule for the upcoming season, and this is probably the best schedule in program history. Games against the defending National Champion Florida, runner-up Texas A&M, and nine other teams that made it to the NCAA postseason. Add in games against more regional powers like Bryant and Holy Cross. Cerrato has been a hell of a hire for this program. He's had some talented teams, but this schedule is stacked. Can't wait for baseball at Bill Beck Field

Love the start with a 3 game series at Texas A&M.
Then the trip to Seattle and on to Florida.

URI Baseball continues to prosper. Love this program.

Schedule is great for recruiting too.

I think what Cerrato does so well is finding the really good, but not necessarily blue chip programs. A couple years back they played Winthrop, and programs like Seattle and Jacksonville are exactly what the team needs without a field to play on in January. I think it's an encouraging sign that the program has the funds to get out to Seattle too.

Ramster, I think there's a good chance they win two of the six. A healthy Tyler Wilson should be really, really good.

Looking forward to watching them play...but...looks like they're ranked about 80th? Not sure I'd call that "top 25 love" ?

(But...I do remember, and love, the "she's making progress" quote!)
