Will Rams Football ever compete for the CAA championship? Will Hockey go D1? Are the Lady Rams on the rise?

Any idea on how much UConn pays out? Unlike many years, travel expense will be minimum.

We have not played the other former YC member UMass. We were originally scheduled to play them at Gillette but that got cancelled. With UMass no longer playing many games in Foxborough and also likely not paying out a large fee, I would think we may not see a game versus them for some time.

Maybe not, but short trip and not a bad possibility of a win over a FBSer....
Rhody should charter a bus or two for that one

I think BC, North Texas are on the calendar for future years.

We're scheduled for North Texas in 2021. We don't have anything scheduled against BC.

Boston College is in the plans for the future.
Was in the article about football costing URI $500k per year........

“Next year URI will head to Kansas for $500,000 and in 2017 to Eastern Michigan for $400,000. Boston College and UConn are future guarantee games.”

Here is the list of future non-conference opponents directly from the BC site:

http://www.bceagles.com/news/2016/6/13/ ... nents.aspx

They don't seem to include FCS opponents, so then i looked at this site that does include FCS opponents:

http://www.fbschedules.com/ncaa/acc/bos ... eagles.php

And still didn't see URI listed.

Could be like UConn that was just announced.
I have not heard that Boston College would not be in the future plans. Good question for the HC And AD.

UConn for next year had been announced for awhile, it was just the specific date next year that was just announced.
