BC's offense is a complete dumpster fire right now -- I bet they'd take Cooper in a heartbeat.
But in general, I agree. He's very good... and only a sophomore.

BC's offense is a dumpster fire right now because they have nothing at the QB position and even still they have 3 relatively productive running backs doing it against top level competition. Cooper's playing great for us at the FCS level, but he probably wouldn't even be able to crack BC's roster let alone be one of their main backs.

BC's leading rusher is a quarterback...
Also, Hillman is out for the season. They're down to Outlow and Rouse (and neither is very good).

We saw what Cooper can do against better competition, and that was 9 carries for -4 yards against a terrible Syracuse team. Taking nothing away from what the kid is doing this year, but he is probably where he belongs.

Running back is a tough position to judge in that if the offensive line is overmatched, it really doesn't matter who you have back there. Then there are situations where if the offensive line is good enough, you can throw anyone relatively decent back there and they would produce. I would not count the Syracuse game against him.

Still, I cringe at what this board would look like if Rhody was putting up some of BC's rushing numbers.

Maybe a better debate is... is Cooper the best RB in the CAA?

Yea we didn't have an offensive line that game. Jamal Charles would of had a tough time.
