Coach La-Force has done an outstanding job with her program, and they definitely have high expectations coming into the 15-16 season.

The men weren't the only ones to pick up a three-star recruit yesterday. Ednaija Lassiter also committed to URI. She's a guard out of MA.

They're picked to finish 8th, but if I were a betting man, I'd place money that they'd finish higher.

Considering they finished 17-13 and 8-8 in conference, and had a nice recruiting class I also think this projection of 8th place is way too low.

Went to today's WBB game vs. Columbia with the crew.
This team plays hard and plays good defense, and
Coach LaForce keeps them on their game.
They pulled one out at the end and won the game.
I wish they got better support, because it's
so much better a product than it's been in decades.
Nice to gee legends like The Godfather and Carl Koussa there.
Good value for a fan's dollar.

These ladies play terrific scrappy basketball.
Let's get the word out and get a good crowd for the PC game on Sunday.

Here's something I wanted to point out.
Tickets are advertised at $7.00.
What is unsaid is ,there's an additional $3.00 fee on every ticket.
Why don't they just be honest and put $10.00 on the tickets,
instead of the little surprise snuck in.
It's not the amount of money, but it seems an odd way
to do business.

I was told by the Ryan Center today,
that a $3.00 fee was added to all tickets.
My tickets cost $40.00 for 4.
The tickets said $7.00. The advertising for
WBB said $7.00 tickets.
If you want to quibble, 2 of the tickets were for a 5 and a 7 year old,
and I'm 66.
I don't care about $12.00, but I know what's right.

I don't want to quibble at all, however it's clearly a mistake if someone did tell you that and I'm sure they'd correct it since it's stated that way on both websites.

I think we all can agree the Women's team needs as much support as they can get and just wanted to make sure the correct ticket prices are out there.

Yes, WBB is a good product and truly deserves to be supported
in greater numbers than ever.
Fun to watch and well coached!
