Rhody Women's Soccer 2014

Figure I might as well start this up since I haven't seen any other threads.

At 6-1-1 they're one of the most successful URI teams of the new academic year (in addition to Volleyball who are on a tear at 9-1), and near the top of A-10 before conference play.
This weekend they play two at home against former Hurley-home Wagner (tonight) and Maine (Sunday). Currently on a two-game win streak, looking for two more.

At 8-1-1 Lady Rams now have the best record in A10 before conference play starts. Highest RPI of an A10 school in rankings at 48th in country. Also they've been ranked 9th in the NSCAA/Continental Tire's Mid-Atlantic Poll for Women's DI (La Salle sits at number one). Looks like Rhody Women's feetball is quietly doing some serious @$$kicking.

They resume play next Friday, Oct. 3 at home vs St. Joes. URI radio will have coverage.

Just thought I'd update that the Lady Rams are still crushing it, now 9-1-2. Beat St. Joes on Friday and tied Mason Saturday, ranked 43rd in US in RPI. Only A10 team ranked higher is La Salle at 28th, but they're not on the schedule so Rams probably won't see them til the conference tournament. Big congrats to Women's Soccer, they're making Rhody proud.

Thanks for the updates. Incredibly URI Women's Soccer was ranked 13th of 14 teams with only 1 point separating them from bottom Fordham. What an incredible season they have put together so far!!

Women lose today 3-0 at VCU

the lady rams start the A10 tournament today as the #5 seed, they play GW (Tournament at Dayton)

The lady rams finished at 12-4-2 on the year and 4-3-1 in the A10 a big improvement from last years 6-12 overall record and 1-7 in the A10
