Soccer Home Opener Friday Aug 29
Heading over to the university tonight to see the home opener against Seton Hall. Two preseason scrimmages with convincing wins over Delaware and Northeastern might bring some hope. Seems like a beautiful, clear night to take it in. Go Rams!

Boys looked very good, but gave up a late equalizer.
First half they really dominated, but conceded a lot of
possession in last 25' of regulation.
Couple chances in OT just missed, including one off
a corner kick that was headed sharply past the keeper
but into the side netting.
Rhody's keeper made some big saves, including one
from just outside the 6-yd box that he barely deflected
over the bar.
To be honest neither goal was a thing of beauty, as
Rhody capitalized on a sloppy back pass, while Seton Hall
finished quickly after picking up a poorly played/loose ball
just outside the area and making one pass.
But the team played a solid game, looked smart, and there
appears to be the makings of a decent squad.
Very entertaining game.
