What am I missing? The guy goes 2-20 in 2 seasons at BU and they disband the program after his second season. He goes on to coach 2 seasons at Central Connecticut with a record of 15-6, but no playoff berth. He moves on to Fordham where he may or may not have inherited future NFL QB John Skelton. His first season they go 3-8, then 8-4 with a playoff trip. Great, he's got the program on the rise. Not so fast my friend! The next four years Fordham goes 16-28, including a 1-10 mark in his last year. Masella is the weakest name that's been mentioned, and he's one of 4 finalists? I'm not sure what's more disheartening, Masella being a finalist or how bad the other 3 guys must be if this guy is being seriously talked about. Hiring him only makes sense if we're moving to the NEC after all or we're disbanding the program and we want a coach that has experience with that.

Masella has done great as OC at Wagner and has deep connections in Staten Isle HS FB.
Staten Isle is loaded with players.
