Rhody gives up a 45yd pass to get Albany down to the 10yd line with about that many seconds left in regulation to kick a game winning FG.

Or was it as time expired when he was tackled short of scoring? Gametracker shows 13 tie at end of regulation.

Freaken awesome we hadn't won a game in how long? The comical thing is with the new college sports TV these games are on saturday night TV. Next week the W&M game is on @ 7:00pm. I'm quite fearfull if URI/Thorr ever gets it's act together and we're competitive I'll be paying bars/restaurants a grand or more to have a TV playing URI vs Maine instead of LSU vs Georgia. ATP I'm ok with brady1 I see us DANCING w/ the new logo. LET'S GO HURLEY!

Hat's off to Senior Josh Moody
- Had a sack that resulted in a fumble that Rhody recovered
- Blocked an extra point
- Blocked a field goal
and did you know he played Basketball at Tottenville HS and averaged 21 points and 15 rebounds?
he is a very good athlete

Nice to see Doug Johnson back this year and have a crucial interception

Very exciting game to watch, although there were a ton of mistakes. Albany kept shooting themselves in the foot. Moody played great. I also like the true freshman Matos. I'd like to see Wynn get a few more touches. He looks like he can break a big play. It would be nice if we took a few more attempts over the top to keep the defense honest. I'm thinking about heading down to the game next week at William and Mary.

There were in excess of 11k there to open their new stadium. Pretty impressive for a school that is relatively new to D1 athletics.

For whatever its worth, Albany's win came against Patriot member Colgate. Colgate is 0-3, but played a reasonably respectable game at FBS Air Force (38-13). They were also drilled @ UNH, who almost knocked off FBS Central Michigan (24-21). The Patriot League doesn't give football scholarships, but has produced some decent teams. Fordham (as the Rams know) is formidable this year with wins over Villanova and FBS Temple.

Albany's other loss was @ Duquesne, who plays in the NEC with Bryant, where the Rams briefly were headed at one time before reversing course and remaining in the CAA.

Albany is one of the most up and coming FB programs in FCS.
RHODY has been trending in the other direction.
Any one who take this win for granted is mistaken.

What is amazing is Bose was benched the whole 1st Qtr! Rhody has some nasty players on defense. The offense needs to get itself in gear to allow the defense some rest. The 3 & outs are hurting them as well as defending a short field in the first two games. It looks like they have found a punter in the transfer from Rutgers which allowed the defense to start deep in Albany territory which wasnt the case in the first two games. Giving your opponents a short field each time is awful hard for a defense. My hope is Rhody rides the high into William & Mary and gives them a run for the money.

I see Doug Johnson only has 14 tackles. Is he healthy? That seems low for him. I think with Bose, Zocco and Johnson URI has a very good LB corps.
