I told my brother before the season started the magic number for wins = 23. Was true then, true now. Just get to 23 in any way, shape or form.

If we are at the point where an Atlantic 10 team needs 25 victories to get into the dance, then the dance isn't the same dance I fell in love with.

I like Jon for the same reason I like Dicky V... they both are passionate about College basketball. Debate the delivery of said passion all you want but at the end of the day they promote the game. For me, that is a very good thing.

It comes with the territory in the A10. URI (or any team fighting for a bid) can never lose a game from a team below them to have chance at an At-Large bid. Every game is a play it not to lose that turns into a loss. URI is allowed one mess up each season. It is the exact opposite in the ACC or B10 ...

I am actually in TP's corner for this one... Perhaps its just the college basketball coach's son in me but I saw lots of sloppy play/room for improvement. Good for the coaching staff for the film room. On one hand we should have won by 25+ but w/ Fatts scoring not needed and with limited bodies/foul...

Fatts: 7 Assists, 3 Steals, 0 turnovers. Leading scorer (18) and dare I say quietly? If this game is any indication the maturity DC mentioned was evident.

On the Annual Day of Giving the Men's Soccer team donations crushed all other teams, including Football and Basketball. I donated. Hopefully something like press box is considered.

I am jealous of the crowd size. If we had 50 fans in the stands back in my day (Geza Henni was coach) it was a lot.
