Big effort by the ENTIRE team today. They all contributed. Dowtin took over down the stretch. That three as the shot clock expired was the difference. Feel for VCU as it was a tough break with Evans going down. Might have been a different outcome but we will never know. Good luck to them in the NCAA...

Tate needs to let his good play do the talking. Did not like his action after big dunk. He got a T for that in the Fordham game which affected the outcome.

Hope Evans plays again this season. He looked to be in a lot of pain. Tough point in season for him to go down. VCU is fortunate an at large is already a given.

Has anyone ever officially confirmed if this was the end of her contract or whether she did in fact get extended another year at some point? If there was no extension, the original five year contract was up this spring and there would be no payout for time beyond then.

Tertsea, Leviton, and Dadika on the court in the last minute. Can't get much better for the first game in a tournament. Cyril, Fatts, and Jeff played like upper classmen today. Big games from all three.

Bad last several possessions. No points in the last 3:17. Passed it around the perimeter and heaved up bad shots. Lead should be more. Fatts needs to take better shots and make ft's. Cyril has been a monster. Need others to help him out with scoring.

Cheap T on Cyril. He still however has to keep his emotion in check. That has been an issue in a few games. Tate's taunting in the Fordham game was another example.
