Re: Nebraska: PROJECT PACK THE HOUSE !
Dont most OOC teams stay in Newport when they play us? Thought that was one of the incentives typically advertised when scheduling a game.

Re: Nebraska: PROJECT PACK THE HOUSE !
As Coach Hurley said on Monday, OOC scheduling is the hardest and dirtiest part of the business. Getting a big name to come to your house is near impossible. It takes sacrifices, connections, and probably some luck. The risk-reward for these teams just isnt great enough. Essentially you have to conv...

Re: Nebraska: PROJECT PACK THE HOUSE !
I believe we started with a 12-0 run in that game as the house was completely nuts and prob overwhelmed the Spiders. Unfortunately Richmond came back to ultimately win that game, but it just shows what a loud, on-top-of-you crowd, can do to a visiting college opponent.

Re: Nebraska Attendance
I expect a sell out You are expecting too much. I had thought a November game versus USC to open up the brand new Ryan Center in 2002 just a few years removed from three straight NCAA appearances would be a sellout as well. It drew less than 6k (5785). My guess is that the Nebraska game draws in th...

I think Hurley's quote is subtly telling as to how he feels about the Hare situation “I just thought we had great spirit,” Hurley said. “The guys that we had there today, they’re easy to coach. They support each other. It’s a live bench. As a coach, that’s all you want.” "The guys we have here....

Going the old 3 colleges in 3 years route. Big and solid guard. Will take him in a second. You'd have to think we have an edge on BC because of the Hurley connection. I'm assuming his only connection with BC is Preston who he was prob in contact with after he transferred from Temple and visited URI.

Going on strictly numbers, UMass should be favored by 8-10. Looks like the oddsmakers are giving us some respect. They know we've been close. This is usually a good thing. Don't discount the chance that the books are also trying to sucker the average bettor who just looks at records into a UMass bet

We need Fordham to become respectable, at least....they are located in New York, which seems to be important....and their academic reputation is attractive to the A-10....
