Wednesday’s game cannot get here soon enough. This board is a mess and I believe the team is a mess at the moment as well. Everyone needs to put the last two games in the rear view and get back to winning vs Davidson. Let’s just hope there is no more bad news between now and then.

#5 Sherod from Richmond was deadly in warm ups from behind the arc and went 3-4 from there during the game. That is the kind of shooter we lack.

Reading the comments at ND insider people are not happy with Brey and thought Doherty deserved more playing time. At 6’8” 235, with 2.5 years left he could be a nice addition if Cox can convince him playing in A10 and close to home would benefit him. Go get him!

There might have been but I also recognized that Greg was behind the bench saw him walking out passed my seat at the beginning of OT

I was impressed with Walker, he is going to be a great addition.

I was questioning Cox putting in Harris for Walker late but Harris made two key plays at the end.

Some good FT shooting down the stretch to help close it out in OT.

WVU is certainly better than LSU.
I think WVU will soon move into top 25 and be there all year. They are big and skilled upfront and have shooters to compliment.

With Toppins length and athleticism I would love to eventually see him as aggressive around the rim as the kid Williams from LSU. Hopefully Toppin doesn’t fall in love with the 3 and think he belongs hanging round the arc.

Nicholls St beat Pitt, lost to Illinois in OT, and had a halftime lead on LSU before letting it slip away to lose by 10. I hope the Rams and Rhody Nation do not underestimate Nicholls St. I know I looked at the name and thought ‘cupcake’, until I watched some of their game vs LSU.

Are these kids playing aau, year round, for a well known program? The good programs play in the best tournaments and promote their kids through social media. Also some have relationships with college coaches and setup “exposure events” to help the kids.
