Jacob Toppin started and played all 40 min today against Alabama. 13pts, 6 reb 3 assists and zero turn overs.
Two starters were out with injuries today so Kentucky's 5 starters played all but 9 min of the game.

Well, if we get excited we get criticized for "overvaluing the recruits".
Plus, with everyone here saying Cox is gone, the logical assumption is that every recruit is gone too - so why even pay attention?

Certainly a game where the twins can handle the lane. Not only should we not double team, we should not even help off the shooters.
Run guys off the line and know you you have shot blockers behind you.

I think eli#10 was onto the answer WRT Thomas' playing time - St John's plays a fast, pressure type game, so you needed another ball handler.
And besides, three turnovers in 12 min makes it much easier to have the "Son, red shirting is in your best interest" conversation.

To me it looked like Ayo-Faleye is a player. Unafraid and has the physical skills to be really good. Just a hunch.
I was also very wrong on Sebastian Thomas. He handled himself well and will be a solid player for us next year.
Walker needs to play BIG minutes this year, no doubt.
